This class earns Colorado brokers 8 CE credits. VBR Realtor® members will earn 8 Vail Pro Designation credits for attending. Breakfast, lunch and class materials included.

If used without proper safeguards, modern-day technology can expose agents and their clients to many vulnerabilities. Viruses, malware, social engineering, identity theft, and other malicious threats (all of which are growing at alarming rates) are particularly concerning because the nature of the business requires real estate professionals to collect and store their clients’ personally identifiable information. This course empowers you with the strategies and tools you need to navigate your business and clients through the perilous legal, online, and social media world. Course participants also leave with actionable tips and strategies for personal security practices to help secure and protect you and your clients' valuable information.

Instructor is Craig Grant, from Florida.  Craig has an amazing ability to present technology topics in such a fun and easy to follow way so that the average agent can not only understand it, but go home and apply the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in today's fast changing real estate marketplace.

$150: CRS non-members (Realtors not with the VBR and not members of the CRS/RRC)
$130: CRS members (If you are a member of the CRS/RRC, and not a VBR Realtor)

This class will be hosted on-site ONLY. VBR reserves the right to change how a class is hosted, depending on the needs of the instructor, VBR staff, or any regulations.

VBR Members: Members will be charged $0 when registering but will be charged a "no-show fee" of $25 for the full class amount if they do not cancel the registration prior to class.

Non-Members: For classes that cost $130 or more, cancellations less than five business days in advance are non-refundable. Providing these classes requires the Vail Board of Realtors® to incur non-refundable expenses such as; printing fees, catering and instructor costs that can’t be refunded.  


HOUSE RULES
Please help us provide a pleasant classroom and event experience by following these rules and recommendations.

If you feel unwell or sick, please stay home and do not attend.  Masks are optional in the classroom. If you choose not to wear a mask, please be mindful of those who do.  At this time, the VBR is limiting our in-person class sizes for safety. The heating system has been updated with a Global Plasma System (GPS) air purifying system that kills 99.4% of viruses, including the coronavirus.

No pets except service dogs. We love dogs but this is a work environment. VBR reserves the right to refuse entry to animals that are not service animals trained to help someone with a disability. We recognize that Emotional Support Animals play an important role but they do not need to be accepted outside of housing and this is a work and classroom environment. In addition, any animal that causes damage, personal injury or disruption will be asked to leave. By signing up for this class, you are agreeing to these terms. Any liability caused by an animal will be your responsibility. You will be liable for any damage or injury by your dog.

Registration for classes is highly recommended as a minimum number of students are required to cost justify each class.  VBR strives to provide quality instructors to ensure memorable learning experiences.  Payment in full is required prior to entering the classroom.
