This class earns you one CE credit with the state and two Vail Pro Designation credits.  Immediately followed by "State of the Rivers" with the Eagle River Watershed Council. Click here to register for the ERWC presentation ONLY (Not the class).

You may have heard the old saying, "Whiskey is for drinking. Water is for fighting." Famed humorist Mark Twain is often given credit for this quote. Water is a valuable resource in the west and in Colorado, and water rights in Colorado are unique when compared to other parts of the United States. Join us for an informative class on water rights with Attorney Bill Wombacher of Nazarenus Stack & Wombacher LLC. 

We'll learn about restrictions in geologically sensitive areas, property requirements, and technology available within the Town of Vail (including zoning, flood and wildfire mapping). We'll also hear about "Restore the Gore" efforts to protect Gore Creek and water quality in our area, and receive a "State of the Rivers" update from Eagle River Watershed Council.

Open to ALL VBR members, this is a Vail Pro Designation course that earns you 2 Vail Pro credits (stay for the Eagle River Watershed Council presentation to earn 3 VP credits). 

It is also certified for 1 CE credit for Realtors® with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

This class will be hosted on-site (Limited classroom depending on COVID restrictions). Per DORA regulations, attendees who are over 10 minutes late may not be admitted for CE credit. 

This class is FREE for VBR Realtor®, Affiliate and Assistant members. Members will be charged $0 when registering but will be charged a "no-show fee" of $25 for the full class amount if they do not cancel the registration prior to class.

COVID
If you feel unwell or sick, please stay home and do not attend.  Masks are optional in the classroom. If you choose not to wear a mask, please be mindful of those who do.  At this time, the VBR is limiting our in-person class sizes for safety.
